3. Under the rotation of the drum, the materials are constantly rolling and agglomerating inside, and the particles formed are more regular in shape, mostly spherical or approximately spherical.
4. By reasonably adjusting the parameters of the drum, the particle size distribution of the obtained particles can be made more uniform.
5. During the drum granulation process, the material is constantly rolling and extruding, and the structure inside the particles is more compact, so that the particles have higher strength.
The drum is the core component of the equipment. It is usually made of rolled steel plates and can be lined with rubber, plastic or acid-resistant stainless steel to prevent material adhesion and reduce drum wear.
The driving device generally includes a motor, a reducer, a belt and a pulley. The motor provides power, which is transmitted through the reducer and the pulley to drive the drum to rotate at a certain speed.
The feed port is located at one end of the drum, which is used to transport the material to be granulated into the drum; the discharge port is located at the other end or side, so that the granules after granulation are discharged.
Auxiliary components: such as supporting rollers, baffle wheels, etc., are used to support the drum and ensure its stable operation. Some are also equipped with scraper devices to clean the materials adhering to the inner wall of the drum.
